ROCKFORD, MN – The Wright County Economic Development Partnership has announced the recipients of its annual awards.
Mike Bauer, of Bauer Design Build in Delano, has been named the Outstanding Citizen of the Year. The award recognizes an outstanding citizen in Wright County for contributions, leadership and vision, and for their volunteer service to the community.
Bauer will be recognized during the WCEDP awards ceremony Friday, Jan. 15, at the Monticello Community Center.
The WCEDP, based in Rockford, is the primary point of contact for existing, start-up, and relocating businesses. WCEDP is the economic development arm of Wright County—a nonprofit partnership of area businesses, communities, and the County working together to enhance the economic vitality of the region.
